Happy Birthday Gran!

Gran's birthday was Sunday. We had a party for her on Friday night at Aunt Grace and Uncle Lee's new house.
We love Aunt Grace and Uncle Lee's new house. She did a GREAT job on dinner! YUMMMM!
Meme and Poppy were in town for the night and got to come to the birthday party.

Thursday night was Family Night at Merrill Gardens. The dinner was in honor of the fire and police men of North Richland Hills. We got to see the NRH fire truck after we ate.

4 month Pictures

It is fun for me to look back at Dylan's monthly "purple chair" picture and see how the boys are alike and different. The top is Derek and the bottom is Dylan. Someone told me tonight that we made "Fluffy" kids. :)

Derek is Four months old!

Derek turned 4 months on September 16th. We went to the Dr. yesterday for our 4 month check up. He weighed 16 pounds which put him in the 75th percentile on weight. He was 26.5 inches long and is in the 90th percentile on height.

Derek is such a good little baby. He has started laughing a lot and loves to smile. He is so patient with all of the "love" that Dylan tries to give him. Derek is just growing up so fast! He is a great sleeper at night. He loves to watch the fish aquarium on the side of his crib. He also loves to blow bubbles. I am going to have to start putting a bib on him to catch all of that slobber! :) Troy and I just love this little guy so much!

Picnic at the Park

Yesterday Derek and I had to get shots at the Dr. After the Dr visit, we went to the park with Bob Jean. Grandma fixed us a great lunch (peanut butter and jelly and chocolate milk) and we got to play on the playground.

Gymnastics Class

I started gymnastics last week. I love the "pit".

I am still trying to learn to jump. The tumble track is helping me!

Last weekend Gran and Papa went and visited our cousins in Illinois. Here they are looking good in their ROMO jerseys that Gran and Papa brought them. We sure miss our cousins and we sure hope that the COWBOYS win tomorrow night!

Sunday afternoon Bike Ride

Sunday afternoon I went on a bike ride with Momma and Papa. I had a cool water pack that I got to drink out of while we were riding. I even got to wear my new Bike Suit!
Even though we hadn't started riding yet, I was VERY thirsty!

I was a little upset here because my cool water straw started leaking and got me all wet. I quickly got over it and LOVED the bike ride. We rode around the airport so we got to see a lot of planes taking off and landing. We even saw a plane come in for a landing right over us. I LOVED IT!
Derek had a great nap at Gran and Papa's while we were on the bike ride. This is the new swing that they bought to keep at their house. This used to be my shirt... I guess Momma thinks we are BOTH "future Mr. Right" .

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party

I went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese this weekend. I had a great time. My favorite parts were talking (yelling his name OVER AND OVER) to Chuck E on the stage and the Bob the Builder Hammer and hard hat that we got.
